'Hair' follows a rag-tag group of hippies in the midst of the Vietnam war, celebrating sex, drugs, and liberation in the face of an increasingly turbulent political climate in New York City. Our version of 'Hair' takes place in Grant Park, Chicago, Illinois, circa August 1968: the Democratic National Convention, where peaceful protests turned into police-riddled riots.
